There’s no dearth of creativity or inspiration on the web. We covet. We pin. We try to re-create (often times, like me, for less) …
Google search “cheesecake recipe” and you’ll net 4,450,000 results. Pillow tutorial? 5,000,000. How to make a fabric flower? 4.5 million. Numbered pails? 6,680,000.
… and, yeah, I’m scratching my head a bit about why numbered pails vetted more results than cheesecake recipe …
So while I’m not totally surprised about the number of amazingly creative projects that linked up to our Misson: Possible “It’s a Cinch” party last week …
… I am surprised at how those who linked up not only inspired me in theory and inspired me to pin on Pinterest …
… but have actually inspired me to take action. Actionable action. Open my wallet and spend real-hard-cold-cash action …
For instance, take Jaime Lyn at Crafty, Scrappy, Happy’s ink stamped pitcher …
When I saw this, I immediately ran out to Michael’s to get my very own stamp kit …
… and have been stamping and brainstorming about what else I can stamp ever since …
And while Laura at Top This Top That had me at “1” with her Pottery Barn knock-off numbered pails (which, by the way, puts Pottery Barn’s overpriced pails to shame) …
When I saw how Kristy at The Life and Times hung numbered flower pots from her fence …
I found myself scurrying to this website that she credited on her post …
… where I immediately placed my order for 8 flower pot hangers (with a special bonus offer of +2 for free) for $29.95 plus free shipping.
Now, over the weekend I emailed my sister-in-law about what I could bring for Easter dinner. When I sent it, I already had these marshmallow kabobs from Angie at Echoes of Laughter in mind …
… you know to get the kids all revved up on a sugar high. Tee hee.
But I’m guessing these sugary crazed kabobs will be showing up at many an Easter feast this year. When I pinned this on Pinterest there was a crazy flurry of repinning madness.
Now, I’m still on the fence about whether or not I’ll be turning my hard boileds into undercover carrots like Kelly at Live Laugh Rowe …
… but I will be sending this link to my sister-in-law (read: Easter dinner host) because she always likes to have some hard boiled egg fun at her Easter brunch place settings …
… and what’s more hard boiled egg fun than an egg disguised as a carrot?
I’ll cap off the “It’s a Cinch” features in the spirit of Spring …
… and in the spirit of my daughter’s room redesign …
… with this easy peasy fabric flower tutorial from Angie at Beneath the Magnolias …
… she attached these to a lampshade. And that is exactly what I will be doing in my daughter’s room …
If you’ve been featured, feel free to grab a button …
And if you’ve been inspired, please pin from the original blog and not from here …
And now I suggest you check out my Mission: Possible “It’s a Cinch” link party co-hosts to see who they’ve featured …
… because I have things to stamp and flowers to plant and kabobs to make … and and …

Great choices! I am also craving hanging pots on a wall in my backyard, it’s a much easier solution than a living wall with felt pockets, which I just saw on HGTV for $$$$!

You know I’ll be running to Michael’s for my own little stamp kit! Such a fun party – I love anything simple so I’ve been inspired to try lots of these myself.
So glad to be hosting our party with a hostess with the mostest!

Linda,
Thank you, thank you – for making the pictures links to the original posts. I’m a click on the picture gal…and I ended up just where I wanted to be.
Those are some really nice finds.
Oh, how I’m trying to resits getting into the stamping thing.
I mean, come on.
If I buy a 2 inch set today, I’ll want a 3 inch set tomorrow.
And, those tiny single letters in the “oh, I see you’re standing in line here at Michael’s and I’m just a bin of colorful stuff sitting here so you have something to look at while waiting for the cashier – no, really, you don’t have to pick me up and touch me – oh, out of interest what’s your initial, I bet there might be one in here if you dig a little” – those single letters…are the gateway drug.
