Handmade Ornament Ideas: Mini Tinsel Wreath Christmas Ornament from Mason Jar Lids.
Cue the marching band …
It’s finally here. The much-anticipated 12th Day of Christmas!
And I know those of you who subscribe have grown sick of seeing me in your inbox every morning for the past 12 days. In fact, one among you sent me an email asking me how to “unsubscribe”…
Ouch.
Clearly not all have enjoyed this 12 Days ornament series. Or maybe it’s just easier to take me in small doses?
Let’s just hope my family doesn’t feel that way.
😉
This final project is the easiest of all. No glue needed.
Handmade Ornament Ideas: Tinsel Wreath from Mason jar Lids
Just two supplies: tinsel and a wide mouth canning lid.
Wind the tinsel around the canning lid.
The tinsel has a bit of wire built in so it will stay put.
Just keep winding.
I used some baker’s twine to add a loop at the top for hanging.

I’ve enjoyed your ornaments! I have already made the sweater wrapped ornament and have painted the letters for our glittery family initials. My daughter wants to do the feather ornament, but use a peacock feather. Great ideas! Thanks for bringing in the Christmas season with fun, easy projects!
