Welcome to our home. Affectionately known as my canvas.
This blog was born after I decided to paint the kitchen. But the paint color clashed with the cabinets. So I painted those too. But then the painted walls and painted cabinets clashed with the ugly hunter green Formica counter tops. So I replaced them too …
But then the newly painted kitchen clashed with the living room. And dining room. And …
and …
and here we are now. With a blog chronicling my escapades. Moving from room-to-room. Wielding a paint brush and roller. As I give our home … my canvas … a diy refresh and remodel.
Here’s a tour of what I’ve completed thus far {just click on the room pictures for more details and pictures} …

I was looking for the white mantel that was pinned on pinterest.from your blog. Could you like me to it? I really like your blog. Thanks in advance

I’m not sure what white mantel that you are looking for. I don’t have any fireplaces in my home. Sometimes people pin things off of my sidebar where I show what I’ve been pinning. So sorry!

I LOVE what you did to your daughters room! Hard to step back and let them do the designing, but the way you guys cooperated; you really did wing it!

Your Leaded Glass Window DIY is the ONLY one I can find on the internet, your work is very truly one of a kind! Your instructions are also easy to follow along. I guess what surprised me was I didn’t see a link to purchase the window paint from whatever retailer, so you get a slight commission for your product advertisement? Maybe I missed the link though? You are very talented!

Thank you! I’ll have to go back to the post and add in some Amazon links. Thanks for your suggestion. When I wrote that post I wasn’t an Amazon affiliate.
