When I posted last week about the Homes.com Pinterest giveaway offering a $500 Visa gift card, I expected serious excitement. I expected entries in the hundreds … perhaps even thousands.
At last count it’s 39.
So what went wrong? (And I pose this question with the understanding that the giveaway is still open for entries) …
It’s 500-free-for-you-dollars my blog friends! Not $50. Not $100. $500 that you can use anywhere … well, anywhere Visa is accepted … which is pretty much everywhere.
I’m thinking the rules were confusing. Or seemed complicated.
So let me un-complicate things for you right here and right now…

okay, initially i was thinking way to complicated for this pea brain of mine, but since you broke it down above I think I can handle this – and the $500 bucks!.
I love you… thanks for hounding us, I thought I would get in the swing of things this long weekend. Instead, I opted to redecorate my main bathroom at the same time as working on the renovation of my second bathroom while I painted and primped my new laundry and breakfast room… I went garage saling too and then to the nursery to pick up some new plants for my garden and then to Home Depot to buy a new tool… I think I am too tired now to play. Sigh. I’ll try again tomorrow.
ps I have been eating coconut oil every day now for a few months because it’s supposed to give you more energy and help digestion and whatever – I think it’s working!!!

Wow, thanks for the clarification. I hadn’t known about the blog.home.com pins so I’m headed to do that now. Hoping to have some time to spend (waster) pinning some fun spring inspiration to my board.
