monogram pom pom pillow & a note of thanks

October 2, 2012 By Linda 15 Comments

Today is customer appreciation day here at it all started with paint …

Customer appreciation for all my drop cloth designs Etsy shop customers.

And not just for your business …

which, don’t get me wrong, is greatly appreciated!

But for your fabulous ideas …

And creativity …

And inspiration …

Seriously.

You’ve made my job so much easier.

Take, for example, my very first customer.  She’s the one who suggested that I stock a Union Jack pillow at the shop. It’s now my top seller.

… not to mention it looks super fabulous in her envy-inducing bedroom …

Oh, and then there was the customer who requested a wedding date pillow …

But I think my newest favorite might just be the request from my next door neighbor …

You see, she saw the pom pom pillow that I made (and that I showed you how I made it here) up close and personal …

And was smitten …

I’m not surprised.  I mean, how could you not be?

But the full metal jacket pom pillow is a bit pricey.

So she came up with the perfect solution.

A modified monogram pom …

With just four pom poms per pillow …

Like tassels …

… on the corners …

Genius!

Thanks Kristan

It’s now stocked.

At the Etsy.

For a reasonable $30 …

…here.

Love the modified pom! I swear I talk about your union jack pillow all the time, and whenever I see another one like it (like at the antiques/flea market) I’m surprised that they are charging like $130 per pillow!

I have all-ways wanted to do this idea….a floor cushion pillow using a drop cloth…and then do a tree of life style…I think the design is so global…and eco green also….so if yu want to take the idea…your are welcome

I need to make another one like the one I made for my daughter in law, Audrey Hepurn silouhette

You & Martha are definitely sharing brain waves. Did you see page 9 of the September issue of “Living” ? Mini pom poms used to tuft grain sack pillows! Your next venture, perhaps?

You pillows are pure perfection. They can be adapted into any decor beautifully. It’s no wonder your pillows are selling so well…not only are they beautiful, they are really reasonable. Congratulations on the newest addition to your shop.
