Ladies. Thank you all for airing your dirty laundry here. Seriously waving those un-laundered panties around for all to see takes some serious body parts we prim and proper ladies do not possess …
… well, anatomically, no. Metaphorically, yes.
So today, in lieu of me … let’s focus on you by sharing all the links you’ve shared with me detailing your “Imagine the Impossibilities” challenges …
(Sorry I didn’t include any fancy embedded links to the posts —just the not-so-fancy URLs — but I have a vaulted ceiling to paint here people! Remember?)
Fellow Chicago blogger Sarah will be making the most adorable hand-sewn felt and Velcro book for her nephew …
Another of my new Chicago blog friends Lizzie is going to finally recover the glider in the nursery with some new beautiful fabric …
This incredibly funny lady is taking on surviving menopause without killing anyone …
The Pine Tree Home gets very sad every time she walks by her guest room …
Jamie is taking on the herculean task of building a fireplace …
Sherry will be taking on the great purge and reorganization of 2012 …
Anna is going to fulfill her life’s dream of learning to sew as well as her grandmother …
Fiona from across the pond is challenging herself to use a Hammer Drill (a must-have because her walls are brick and plaster) to hang up 10 shelves … sounds noisy to me!
Megan is going to tackle a seriously challenging upholstery project …
Autum of last week’s palletless wall feature is going to build a piece of furniture …
Jess will be tackling her pantry …
Stacy is going to take on the “big boy” power tools. Uh oh, Mr. Flickerwhips … you might want to start sleeping with one eye open. Just saying …
Ronda at Batchlors Way is also going to tackle the power tools – all by herself – to build a custom walk-in closet ….
And then, of course, are the “Imagine the Impossibilities” challenge hosts (just click on the screen cap pictures to learn more about the challenges we have individually signed up for)…
There’s still time to join us on our “Impossibilities” journey … click here or on the button below to find out all the details …
…. okay, I’ll fess up here. Today was supposed to be an update on how I’m coming along with my ‘painting the vaulted ceiling in my bedroom’ challenge. Problem is, I’m stuck on picking a paint color. I’ll share that particular thrilling tale with you later this week …
P.S. If you have signed on to the “Impossibilities” challenge and have written a post about it, then link it up in the comments thread here … and I’ll feature you in a future post!

ohhhh no this makes me feel really lazy because there are a hundred and 1 things I could be doing/making/renovating and sharing with you all… but I’m too lazy to get started. Actually no it’s daunting me, wondering if I’ll have the know how, the money etc. to finish a project. I don’t like failure or half done jobs so I procrastinate far too much. Terrible right? I should use this as my kick start.

Brianna @ RMV says
I think choosing paint colors is a pain in the tookus. In fact I am posting my paint choosing process later this week. My husband and I have it down to a science at this point since we have painted and repainted so many rooms.
Though, I have never tackled a vaulted ceiling!
I’m in on the challenge http://realmountainvalues.com/2012/01/16/couch-crafts-hand-sewing-doll-clothes-from-scraps/
Though for it to make any sense you need to know I am totally laid up on a couch until I have my second baby. As an active person I’m trying the impossibility of finding crafts to do on a couch :).
Thanks for helping host this very neat event!
