I’m addicted to Etsy.
But who can blame me. Seriously.
The artisans selling their handmade goods are so amazingly talented. And I’m not just saying that because I, too, have an Etsy shop.
I’m just in awe of their talent.
And you know what I love best? I can almost always find what I’m looking for. Whether it’s a fabric pattern. Creative inspiration. Or a piece of art.
Take those navy and white nautical prints. I just ordered them yesterday from this Etsy shop. I think they’ll be the perfect art for the living room remodel.
For the longest time I’ve been struggling with art. I was thinking I might just make something … but couldn’t quite pull the trigger. And then this idea popped in my head. Navy and white prints. Sketch art in white on a navy background.
Of course, I figured I’d never find what was in my head. That I’d be searching on Google and in stores in vain.
I envisioned months of frustration …
So with low expectations, I went to Etsy and typed ‘navy and white art’ in the search box. And those prints popped up.
I was sold.
It only took me about five minutes to place the order. And it only took that long because I needed to measure my frame size first …
And with that purchase I move one step closer to finally closing out the living room remodel.
I just need to carve out time to get the board and batten installed. And this weekend is already spoken for …
Sigh.
There’s always next weekend.
In the meanwhile, I’ll be working on some furniture painting projects. And pillow making. And lamp makeovers. And spray painting the frames and mattes that my amazing new Etsy find artwork will be hung in …
Fingers crossed that I’ll have a big reveal by the end of the month …
if only I can ahead of my Etsy shop orders.
