Simple Thanksgiving Table in Orange, Green, Gold, Neutrals – Free Thanksgiving Place Card Printable
The last Thanksgiving.
Okay, I realize that sounds a bit dramatic.
But only because I didn’t include a very important disclaimer: this was the last Thanksgiving in this house (fingers crossed).
This house that we’ve lived in for 28 1/2 years. And this house that we plan to sell in early 2025.
Now I realize I should be posting Christmas decor this week. And holiday things. Like house tours and Christmas trees and Christmas crafts and such.
I only have to look out my front window to see that my neighbors spent their post-Thanksgiving feast time festooning their homes with lights and bows and garland and trees.
But I felt the need to first document our last Thanksgiving.
In this house.
Before moving on to the last Christmas.
In this house.
🙂
So here we are. With a last Thanksgiving (in this house) blog post (over)filled with pictures.
To which I offer my most sincerest of apologies.
But our future plans in our new space will not include this dining room set.
Sure many of the things on the table will make the move. But the table and chairs and the hutch will be sold.
Or donated.
They have served us well over the past 28 1/2 years. Hosting many family and friend gatherings. And kid’s birthday parties.
But in 2025 — as we move forward in pursuit of our new home — downsizing will be in order. 😉
So this post isn’t just about a Thanksgiving table setting. It’s also about saying ‘thanks’ to this dining room for serving us well over the many, many, many years of service!
🙂
