I’ve never been much for anniversaries.
In fact, there were a couple of years when my husband and I both forget our wedding anniversary. We know the month. We would even talk about going out to dinner on the weekend nearest the date. But when the 21st rolled around, we would forget. And then one — or both — would come to our senses a few days later. And we’d share ‘happy anniversary’ wishes and a kiss. And perhaps share a celebratory meal. But that’s it. No fanfare. No parties. No gifts.
That’s just how we roll.
So I wasn’t planning on a “hey, it’s my blogovesary” type of post. And yet here I am telling you that four years ago today this blog was born. Well, maybe not so much born but launched when I hit “Publish” for the very first time.
It was scary moment.
You can even read my inaugural “Welcome to My Blog” post by clicking here. It made me chuckle. Such big dreams and aspirations. I truly thought I would whip my house into shape in a few months time! Ha!
I thought it might be interesting to take a look back and see which blog posts received the greatest number of views. And while I’m not completely surprised that mason jars take center stage (I did start a second blog devoted exclusively to those funny glass jars), it leaves me with a question mark over my head. Because this exercise of looking at numbers and identifying top posts is supposed to help me design future content. And I’ll be honest, I’d prefer to keep (for the most part) mason jars on the mason jar blog.
So where do I go for the next four years? What should I create? Blog about? Share here?
I have absolutely no idea, especially since my top 25 blog posts of all (my) time is jumbled mash up of this and that …

Great effort. An anniversary look back, often helps give renewed energy to keep going another year, or two, or three .
BTW you’re still a step ahead of me when it comes to wedding anniversaries. I have to ask my husband what date it’s on……..or take off my wedding ring to look inside. It’s easier to ask then get my ring off my finger. (grin)
