… always another’s thrifty treasure?
This is a bless their heart post if there ever was one …
I mean, we’ve all seen craft projects that have gone horribly wrong.
We’ve all seen theme décor that goes a bit too … well … themey.
But when I drove down the alley earlier this week and this caught my eye …
… I thought bless her (or his) heart.
I mean, they did make a commitment, right?
Those are a lot of party store beads wrapped around there. And the black and white check on the base ties it all together, right?
Screams … okay, more like SCREAMS … Mardi Gras.
Now, if this landed in the alley some time around the Mardi Gras season I could’ve chalked it up to a Mardi Gras party. You know, a one-time decoration by a couple of frat-guy-apartment-dwellers living across the alley …
But it showed up this week. Which has me thinking it’s not a theme party decoration. But a theme room centerpiece.
And while I can only speculate and wonder about the how and the where … and the why
I can tell you for 100% sure that this particular “treasure” will not become the newest “thrifty treasure” in my home.
Bless her … or his … Mardi-Gras-loving heart!

I’ve actually seen this done but wrapped around a chandelier and it looked amazing! This, not so much!
Keep checking that alley – at least you know it’s good for a chuckle every now and then!

Well, it certainly may not be many people’s “cup of tea”…but it certainly made you stop and “take note”…on how you could make it better!!…or not!!…:)

Wonder how many times someone had to flash to get all those necklaces?
